This competition is Ten-Pin Bowling played according to WTBA rules section 2 as far as practicable.
The bowling competition is opened to all participating church members.
Up to a maximum of 72 people may participate in the bowling competition. Please sign up early to avoid disappointment.
Bowling lanes and balls will be provided. All players are responsible for their own approved bowling shoes. Shoes may be rented from Orchid Bowl at $1.20 per pair. Socks are compulsory. You can pay for a pair at $1.50 if you forget your own.
All play must stop by 1600h.
Format
Bowling is an individual sport, and winners will be decided by absolute score.
There will be three events as follows:
- Open Men - 18 years and older
- Open Ladies - 18 years and older
- Young people - between 7 years and 18 years
Children below 7 may not participate.
There are two playing time slots: 2pm and 3pm.
If less than 36 players sign up the 3pm time slot will not be used.
Your playing time and lane assignment will be published after application closes on July 29, 2011. Please find out when you must be present to play.
Everybody will have the opportunity to play one game.
The first and second winner in each event will win prizes.
Players will take turns to play all frames of a game in a single assigned lane.
