Convenor
The organizer for the Amazing Race is Shalom. If you have any queries for the convenor please go to the Contact us page.
Rules
The Amazing Race will be based largely on a famous seventeenth century Christian book which has both adults and children calling it a favorite through the ages. Even in the classical genre, experts have called this piece of work a master class. It would be advantageous, but not essential, for participants to be familiar with the book. Help can be sought during the course of the game for teams who need it.
Cooperation, orderliness and full involvement of all team members will be required. Togetherness and team spirit will earn teams bonus points.
Poor sportsmanship, unruly behavior, disregard for rules by any team member will cost the team penalty points.
For each completed station, points will be earned for the team if they manage to perform the task or activity within the sipulated time.
Format
Each church can send more than one participating team made up of children from seven to twelve years old. Each team can have a maximum of eight members.
Participating teams should comprised of a good distribution of older and younger members.
Each church is required to send an adult per team as a guide, regulator and scorer.
The Amazing Race will be played in the futsal court 4 at 10am and continue in the Arena function room for the second half. If it rains, the Amazing Race will be played in the Arena function room only.
Registration
As this is a team only event, all interested players must register through their church sports representative.
